A Little About Us
CLASSIC CAR PARTS is a family-owned company, specialised in supplying spare parts and accessories for British-made classic cars. We started our activities in January 1975, so we are one of the oldest firms in this field in the Netherlands. The very start was obtaining parts for the own collection of classic cars. Since 1984 we acquired the agency of the Morris Minor Centre Bath ltd, Monkton Combe, England. In the past we bought much surplus stock, mainly from BMC- or Leyland dealers; from the former Wolseley/Riley importer in the Netherlands we bought the complete stock. By regular contacts with reliable suppliers we can keep our stock at such a level, that we can most times supply from stock: our rate of backorders is very low. We always try to despatch the parts at the same date of the order. Our speciality are the postwar English saloon cars e.g. Austin, MG, Morris, Riley, Vanden Plas and Wolseley. There is a limited stock for pre-war cars. As sportscars were often build from the same standard components as the saloons, we also can help in this field. Publishing a stock-list is impossible because of the sheer size of the stock. We have a wide range in Lucas spares, SU fuel pumps and carburetters, and parts needed for engine reconditioning. For rustproofing we stock the Waxoyl products; for cars in need of leaded petrol we have Superblend Zero Lead, the Nr.1 lead substitute. Have a look at our monthly selection of special offers!
